A couple of weeks ago I shared some images from my sister's maternity session. I would now like to officially present to you my youngest nephew, Alec.
I was in Miami for my brother's graduation and was hoping my sister would go into labor while I was there...but Alec had plans of his own. He decided to come into this world on his own terms - 5 days after I returned to San Diego. Luckily, I was able to go right back and meet him at only 4 days old and photograph him during that special (and short) window of time in order to get the sleepy newborn shots. These photos were taken at days 6 and 7 of life. You'll notice he has his belly button in one image and then it's gone on the other...it actually fell off right before the 2nd day of photos!
I wonder what he is going to be like. His three older brothers have such distinct personalities and are so different. I can't wait to see!
