Fairy Tale Prom...

My niece will be 17 years old in three days. I met her when my husband and I started dating when she was only 9 years old (geez...time flies!) I've seen her blossom into a beautiful, smart and extremely talented young lady. I was excited to photograph her and her boyfriend before they went to Prom a couple of weeks ago. It was emotional and I found myself dabbing the corners of my eyes a couple of times to keep the tears from coming out! (I know...I'm a softie!) Being there reminded me of that special time in our lives when we have the whole world at our fingertips. Everything is new and there are so many possibilities ahead of us. Lexi, enjoy every moment of these amazing years. You will remember them forever and it's true what they say...they do go by so fast!
