Happy Birthday to the Little Loves of my Life!

Seven years ago today, my eldest nephew made his grand entrance into this world. I was lucky enough to stand by my sister's side as she delivered this tiny little being we had all been eagerly waiting to meet for the past nine months. Witnessing his birth was such a special gift for me and little did I know then how much he and his two younger brothers would impact my life and enrich it in so many ways.

Jorgie turns seven years old today. He is no longer a baby nor a toddler. He is a big boy...It's so cool to see him grow and develop but at the same time sometimes I feel it's happening way too quickly. He's an old soul. He is so sensitive, thoughtful, loving, affectionate, sweet, caring...I can go on and on. He is also a very gifted baseball player. Not only does he love the game and not only is he awesome at it, but he is also so incredibly knowledgeable about sports in general. He even wants to be a professional baseball player when he grows up. At such a young age, he possesses an absolutely beautiful and caring heart.

So today is Jorgie's 7th birthday. But there is a lot more to celebrate in the next 7 days. Julian, my middle nephew, turns 5 on the 16th. Julian came a few weeks early. I had planned on going back home to be there for his birth but he put an interesting spin on things. As if it weren't bad enough that I missed his birth, I didn't even know he was born until he was 2 days old! My husband, some friends and I were hiking down and then back up the Grand Canyon on foot and I had no phone reception for 2 days. Once we reached the top I was flooded with a range of emotions upon hearing the news. So frustrated and sad that I had missed it but so overjoyed that I had a new little nephew to love. Julian is so funny...always joking around and making people just crack up. He is a little clown! I swear he must have been a comedian in a past life. He is incredibly expressive and communicates with you through his eyes. His passion for everything is contagious. He loves his brothers immensely. He too enjoys sports but doesn't take it so seriously...he has fun with it and is also very good at baseball. He loves animals (just like me) and loves to sit on a chair with a book in hand (just like me)!

And last but certainly not least, Adrian turns 2 on the 21st. Just like for Jorgie's birth, I was able to witness his arrival into this world. Adrian is absolutely scrumptious! He is a ball of fire and is the most rambunctious of the three. Boy does he have a set of lungs on him! He is a happy baby - always laughing and yelling so that he gets attention (as if he didn't already receive tons of it!) He is a little blondie and at only 2 years old, he sure is a little actor and knows how to dive straight into your heart! He's pretty tough, being the youngest of 3 boys, but he is also so loving and affectionate and give the most delicious kisses and hugs!

I moved from Miami to San Diego before Jorgie turned two. However, despite the distance, I am blessed to have such a special bond and super close relationship with all three of my nephews.

Happy Birthday Jorgie, Julian & Adrian. Tia loves you with all her heart! <3 Thank you for making me the luckiest Tia in the entire world!

Aww sis, that's beautiful! They are so lucky to have you as their Tia. Despite the distance, you're always there for us and NEVER miss a special event. Thanks for always capturing their distinct personalities but more importantly, thanks for loving them as much as I do! Love you!!!
