Hi there! Thank you for reading Photography by Gabriela’s quarterly newsletter. I hope everyone had a fantastic and event-filled summer. It seemed to just fly by for me! I for one am sure happy the power is back throughout our lovely city of San Diego. With school back in session, summer almost over, and restored power, it’s time to buckle down, get back to business and start gearing up for the holidays...Holidays? Already? GASP! With this scorching heat (and plenty of humidity) you wouldn’t believe the holidays are right around the corner. And although we’ve had a late summer this year, the dates don’t lie... A little over a month and a half left before Halloween, only to be followed by Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas and New Year’s Eve...WHEW!
Keep on reading to see what we’ve been up to and what we have going on. But first, I’d like to take a moment to give a shout out and a heartfelt congratulations to my friend back home in Miami (and also one of my photography mentors) on her 4th beautiful daughter who was born August 30th. Cardiff by the Beach hosted their 6th annual Dog Days of Summer Festival last month. Once again, I was honored to be a part of this spectacular event filled with very useful information, adoptions, contests, and so much more. Yep! It’s that time already. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: don’t procrastinate! Get your holiday photo session booked early this year so that you can cross it off your list before all the other holiday-related items start to cloud your brain. It's time for our 2nd Annual Cutest Kid Contest. Photo submission for the contest began Friday, September 9th and will be accepted until Thursday, September 22, 2011, 11:59pm. The actual contest begins on Friday September 23rd. Click HERE for details on how to enter and what you can win.
Books are a wonderful way to remember an entire session. All Books are a total of 10 pages and 20 sides. The 10x10 and 12x12 book hold approximately 25 images and the 5x5 book holds approximately 14 images. The hinged paper allows open pages to lay flat and the cover is a custom photographic cover. Books start at $199.
Blingcakes is a local San Diego business that hand crafts one-of-a-kind custom cell phone cases. Many of these cases feature Swarovski crystals in various styles, from the conservative to the over the top! Blingcakes can create a case just for you.
