It's a Big World...

It was so nice to see my little cousin Alastair again! Boy how he's grown. Our very first session together was when he was still in his mommy's womb, then when he was 5 days old. I did some holiday photos of him last year and most recently photographed his first birthday.

This session started out a little challenging. It was freezing and my polarizing filter broke. But worst of all, right before we started snapping photos, Alastair tripped and busted his little lip. Poor baby! Despite all our little issues, we managed to play in the sand for a bit and have some fun. He seemed so interested with the waves and the seaweed. Even his canine, Elphaba, joined in the fun although she was a little more spooked by the tide than Alastair himself.

Now for some exciting news...Alastair will soon be the big brother to not one but TWO baby siblings! I am definitely looking forward to photographing the newborn twins some time in May so stay tuned...
